
FIVE STEPS TO HEALTHY LIVING
Hey Kids!,
Here are five simple steps to staying healthy and strong.
EAT HEALTHY
Make sure that your parents give you lots of healthy foods from the six food groups so you get lots of nutrients to stay healthy.
CONTROL PORTIONS
This means you must not overeat, or take second helpings when you don’t need to. Overeating can make you sick in many ways.
BE ACTIVE
Don’t just sit in front of the TV or computer playing video games all day. Go outside and have some fun! Play football or basketball. Ride your bike or skateboard, or just run and play catch.
CHECK HEALTH
Visiting your doctor is a good thing. He’s there to get you better and to make sure that you are healthy and strong. Plus, he always checks you’ve grown since the last visit.
BE HAPPY
Being a kid is great, because we can have all the fun we want. Always remember to do as you’re told and give your family lots of hugs.
