Puerto Rico celebrates Community Day
On April 16th, 2009, Nestlé Nutrition employees visited the Children’s Hospital in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico to celebrate Community Day. This hospital is the only pediatric health center in Puerto Rico that offers prolonged care to physically and mentally challenged children that require hospitalization.
Gifts donated by employees – basic necessities, school supplies, clothing, educational and recreational toys – where given to the children.
Later that day, the “Nestum Bear” joined us bringing joy and happiness to the children. These days make a difference to those who give us so much and ask for so little.
