WATER We are in the process of constructing a new water treatment plant at our manufacturing facility. We will use this as a springboard for education about water through factory tours and other activities.
ENVIRONMENT
In Jamaica, environmental issues are given high priority and are an integral part of the national development objectives. Through the Jamaica Environment Trust (JET), a non-profit, non-governmental membership organization, the main focus is environmental education and advocacy. The JET operates Jamaica's largest environmental education program, the Schools’ Environment Programme and coordinates a network of school environmental clubs called the Schools Environment Network. Through this programme, the Trust organizes field trips, environmental events and an Annual Beach Clean Up.
